SJR | Week 560: New Lake Law


On this week’s show, Bret Amundson, David Eckhardt and Dan Amundson learn about a new lake law regarding keeping trash off and out of our lakes. Mike Hirst from Keep It Clean joins the show to tell us what the new laws are and why it’ll help our lakes. Joe Henry is back and gives us the latest from Lake of the Woods and the Northwest Angle. The guys lead off the show talking about where and how they fished over Memorial Weekend, including some cool smallmouth fishing. Dan also reviews the Kastking MG12 Baitcaster.

Mike Hirst from Keep It Clean joins the show after Joe to tell us about a new lake law in Minnesota that was just signed by Governor Walz. He explains what this new law is, what ice fishermen will have to do, and how it will positively affect our lakes and rivers. The guys also discuss if they’ll have to make some changes to how they store food and drink on the ice while staying in a wheelhouse.
