Joe Henry joins the show first to give us some tips on ice fishing at Lake of the Woods. Now that there’s fishable ice, anglers are hitting it in full force and Joe has some advice on how to work walleyes, especially if they seem to be in a negative mood. He shares how you shouldn’t be afraid to work your bait off bottom in some instances and how fish have the tendency to enjoy the chase, but there’s also another technique that shouldn’t ever be overlooked at the Walleye Capital of the World.

Thomas runs the YouTube channel Hoke Outdoors. He talks about his kayak hunting experience here in Minnesota and tells us about some of his hunting experiences in North Carolina. Bret and Thomas compare waterfowl hunting regulations in the Mississippi and Central Flyways to the Atlantic Flyway and ponder why certain regulations are the way they are. They also just shoot the breeze about other duck hunting topics and the world of YouTube and how things continue to change every day.
