This week on Sporting Journal Radio, we welcome a new affiliate in Rochester, 97.5 FM, so we’ll discuss outdoor opportunities around the Rochester area with Brandon Schad, the Area Wildlife Supervisor with the DNR. We’ll try to find some little-known chances to enjoy the outdoors, especially right now. Then we travel, through the radio to the Netherlands for PART 2 of our interview with Sean Wit. The fishing is surprisingly similar and the pike are GIANT. Sean is an avid angler who chases big pike, zander, perch and catfish from the Netherlands to Sweden and tells us how he catches those monsters and why they get so big. We also get an update on the Rainy River from Joe Henry and get whooping cranes in North Dakota info from Doug Leier.
