Watching two bucks fight can be a thrilling experience. Seeing wildlife in nature interact in ways that most of the general public never gets to see. Unfortunately sometimes one of those bucks doesn’t make it.
In the following video, a Shorewood, MN resident called police to let them know that two bucks had locked antlers and couldn’t get free. One of them seemed to have died before it could have been freed. It also looks as though the bigger buck lost for once.
This video is courtesy of the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department and shows the use of a taser to subdue one of the deer, then a pair of sawzalls unlock the antlers and the one live deer is able to live to see another day.
