L. David Mech has researched wolves more than anyone in the world. He’s the founder and vice chair of the International Wolf Center in Ely and is a senior scientist with the Biological resources division, US Geological Survey Adjunct Professor in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology, and Ecology, Evolution and Behavior at the University of Minnesota. He has studied wolves and their prey since 1958, as well as several other species of wildlife.
Dave shares his insights with the recent federal ruling on wolves and the endangered species list.
