The early goose season is a week away.

Dove season starts in less than a month.

Soon cattail sloughs and cornfields will be full of decoy-haulin’, camp-wearing waterfowl hunters. How can I tell?  Because everywhere you look there are hunting expos going on.

There are also county fairs everywhere this weekend-weird.

Anyway, we stopped up at Kruger Farms in Starbuck this weekend and handed out copies of MNSJ Magazine.  We also took a look at all the deals that are going on right now.

Dogs were welcome and of course Mika made an appearance.  She was joined by two other young labs, Remy (3 months old) and Kota (2 years old).
