This week we are on the road from Veterans on the Lake Resort near Ely. Our first stop was at the Alexandria Shooting Park for the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League Championship. Executive Director Jim Sable and one of the shooters, Kerri Mueller from Wayzata appear on the radio show. Then we stopped by the Camp Confidence 31st Annual Nick Adams Memorial Fishing Classic on Gull Lake and spoke with Dennis Mackedanz and Sarah Smith. Our final destination last weekend was at the Crosslake-Ideal Lions Fishing Tournament on the Whitefish Chain. Joe Doerfler the executive director of the tournament tells us about the 26th year and why they didn’t include walleyes this year.
