“Put more sheep on the mountains.”

That’s the goal of the Wild Sheep Foundation and the Midwest Chapter is inviting you and celebrate this animal today in Minnetonka. If you’ve wanted to increase your odds in getting a sheep tag, this is an event you have to go to, as the auction offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
According to their website:
“To promote and enhance increasing populations of indigenous wild sheep on the North American continent, to safeguard against the decline or extinction of such species, and to fund programs for professional management of these populations, keeping all administrative costs to a minimum.”
To Date, the Midwest Chapter of FNAWS has funded $1,000,000.00 in projects to “Keep sheep on the mountain”!
The events today kick off at 10 am with vendor booths throughout the hotel. There is an afternoon auction that starts at 1pm, dinner is at 5:30, then the evening auction brings down the house at 6:30.
Last year saw the first ever South Dakota sheep tag auction. It raised a staggering $102,000!
