We’ve got a big show this week.
We get to the bottom of the August Canada goose season with waterfowl staff specialist Steve Cordts with the MN DNR. The Feds have given Minnesota the option to open a goose season as early as August 10th and did not set any bag limits, so a conservation season similar to the spring snow goose season is possible. It probably won’t be statewide however, details on this week’s show.
The smallmouth situation on Mille Lacs is starting to get some attention, despite the walleye being the king fish. Janet Parker talks about why we should care about this brawny scrappers and about an effort put forth through www.savemillelacssmallies.com.

Last, but not least, we had the chance to interview the guys from the Bone Collector TV Show, Michael Waddell, Nick Mundt and T-Bone at Minnesota Archery on Tuesday. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll play back each interview, starting with South Dakota native, Nick Mundt this week.
