WINTER GOOSE SEASON?

The geese are taking over West Central Minnesota in droves.  It seems the population has risen steadily every year.  The rascals are taking over a well-known fishing hole just north of Pelican Rapids.  Prairie Lake is known for its ice-shanty towns, but that is impossible this year.  The shear numbers of geese are keeping a significant part of the lake open.  They go on their merry way from lake to nearby field not knowing the angst they are causing for winter anglers.  Anywhere there is open water, usually found on rivers or in towns, you can find geese.  Please, oh please, Minnesota DNR, extend the regular goose season or create a winter season!!  Pretty please?
